Follow these simple steps to install plugins onto your Minecraft server. First, login to the SMpicnic Control Panel and navigate to your Server Manager page. Install either Craftbukkit or Spigot as your Server Jar. Click the Plugins tab. Once you locate a plugin you wish to install, click the Install. About this video: This video is our complete guide on how to download and install plugins in Minecraft 1.14. And it doesn't matter what plugin you want to install, this video will show you how to do it.
In this video, we are going to be installing World Edit as well as Grief Prevention. One thing to note as well is that some plugins aren't updated to 1.14+ yet, but they do still work. An example of this is Grief Prevention. It isn't updated to Minecraft 1.14, but it still works! You can find a list of 15 incredible plugins that work in Minecraft 1.14 in the description above!
After you have your Minecraft plugins downloaded, we need to get them installed. I am assuming you already have a Spigot or Paper server. If you don't, you an find our in-depth guide to start one in the description above. You can also set one up with just one click at Apex Minecraft Hosting.
As far as installing plugins on a Minecraft server in 1.14 goes, we just need to open up our server folder, and you will have a 'plugins' folder. Open that, and drag and drop any Minecraft plugins that you want into it. It really is that easy and simple. After that, restart your server. When you go back into the plugins folder, you will now see folders for the plugins you installed.
If you open up those plugin's folders you will be able to see their configs, data, and anything else associated with the plugin. Every plugin is different and will have different files that go with it. World Edit, for example, has schematics whereas BetterRTP will just have a config file.
